A Human Element Book Sales Donated to Pearl S. Buck Adoption Program

By Donna Galanti

From December 5th through December 22nd I’m combining my love for reading and writing with another subject close to my heart–adoption. Many children spend the approaching holidays in foster care waiting for a family who wants to embrace them as their own forever.

I lived in an orphanage and foster care the first year of my life. I was given a second chance and I want to help give other children a second chance at happiness, with a permanent family. See my adoption story here.

Adoption and being an only child runs deep through my book A Human Element. They had a deep impact on my life. And that’s why through December 22nd I’m donating $1 from each  purchase of my suspense novel, A Human Element, to the Pearl S. Buck Foundation’s Welcome House Adoption Program. See how you can spread the word at the bottom!

Already have A Human Element? How about gifting it to a friend or loved one? Perfect for the holidays! It’s only $2.99 eBook/ $15.99 paperback! Purchase A Human Element at one of these outlets:
iTunes   Barnes & Noble   Amazon    OmniLit   Smashwords

To make your purchase count email your receipt of A Human Element (or a photo/scan of your receipt) to: donnasgalanti@comcast.net

It’s a win-win! Help change a child’s life today and enjoy a thrilling read called a “Riveting debut that had me reading till the wee hours of the night,” by international bestselling author, M.J. Rose and “Chilling suspense. Enjoy the ride” by Kindle Book Review.

This special donation program ends December 22nd. I will post the donation amount on January 1st!

What does my Welcome House Adoption Program donation do?
My donation will go toward imagineear.com/pharmacy/ funding international adoptions as well as adoptions in my home state of Pennsylvania. Author Pearl S. Buck was not only the first woman to be awarded both the Nobel and Pulitzer Prizes for literature, she was also an adoptive parent.

Pearl S. Buck

Pearl Buck’s vision of global understanding among people, and her belief that all children are entitled to the love and security of a family of their own, is still alive today. The Welcome House Adoption Program carries on this vision by uniting children with permanent loving families, providing education throughout the adoption process and offering lifelong support for adoptees and their families.

As one of the oldest and most well-respected adoption programs, Welcome House has found loving families for more than 7,000 children from all over the world. Find out more here.

I’m lucky to have Pearl S. Buck’s home in my backyard. If you’re in the southeast Pennsylvania area, it’s worth a trip to the home and museum of this amazing author and humanitarian.

This donation program ends December 22nd so don’t forget to email me your book purchase receipt at: donnasgalanti@comcast.net and I will tally it up and post the donation amount on January 1st!
